The DINO & FILS company, a subsidiary of the JUSTAWE BOIS SA Group based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, is specialized in logging.
In order to meet the new needs of the market, the company has undergone different phases of development and its business is now centered around four sectors of activity: logging, sawing, sale of wood and export of forestry products
DINO & FILS had undertaken the steps to acquire a fleet management software proposed by a Cameroonian editor, but finally realized that the functionalities were limited and the software did not allow enough flexibility. The solution was used for some time before being abandoned.
The project was launched again and new specifications were drawn up. The system had to facilitate the management of multi-store stocks, trace fuel consumption, enable the monitoring of transport with the company's own fleet, manage outsourced transport and finally, manage the cash & treasury in a fully integrated way.
At the end of the research, in a "short list" three software packages were selected: a Cameroonian software package, a French software package and Digiparc . At the time of the final choice, Digiparc was the best adapted solution, it meets the expectations of the customer and covers the business needs and the required functionalities are included.
In May 2016, Dino et Fils validated its order. To facilitate the integration of the software, internal trainings were organized in June in the premises of Dino et Fils in Yaoundé SOA. Two months later, Digiparc was already managing 80% of the project perimeter.
